Major Sequence in Professional Sales:

A minimum of 12 courses, to include:
Foundation Courses
  • ACC 112 Accounting for Decision Making I
  • ACC 212 Accounting for Decision Making II
  • ECON 100 Introduction to Economics (CSI)
  • ECON 227 Statistics for Business and Economics 

Business Core Courses

  • BUS 331 Marketing: Principles and Management
  • BUS 341 Organization and Management
  • BUS 355 Business Law I (W)
  • BUS 490 Strategy and Policy
  • FIS 303 Financial Management
Advanced Sales focused coursework
  • BUS 230 Relationship Driven Professional Sales + Directed Study Lab
  • BUS 359 Advanced Relationship - Driven Professional Selling
  • BUS 338 Negotiation in Business and Sales
  • BUS 358 Sales Leadership + Directed Study Lab
Other courses outside of the department that professional sales majors are required to complete:
  • MATH 110, MATH 140, MATH 176, or university credit for AP Calculus
  • GW 100: Gateway Colloquium

Note:

  • Internship 397 does not count as an elective toward any major or minor
  • You may not have more than one D in the major or any minor
  • 91黑料专区 University requires all students to complete nine-course units at the 300 or higher level with at least four of them in the department housing the major.
