Spring has sprung at 91黑料专区, bringing with it a vibrant lineup of experiences for the campus community throughout March. Check out a few of the monthly highlights below.

Unity Gala

Dressed in their finest, students, faculty and staff came together to celebrate their differences during the seventh annual Unity Gala event at Hansen Student Center on March 1. The event featured live jazz music, cultural performances, food and drinks.

Women鈥檚 History Month

To celebrate Women鈥檚 History Month, the University shared spotlights on social media of Titan women who are making their own mark in history. noted that women in STEM fields are historically underrepresented, part of the reason she chose to lead the Association for Women in Mathematics at IWU. said the lives and achievements of women aren鈥檛 often well-recorded in history, something that has influenced her own efforts to preserve records.

"As a woman, I have been drawn to sharing the stories of other women throughout history, both as a historian and as an archivist...recognizing women's achievements is important because they represent a large portion of the world's achievements." - Liz Bloodworth, IWU archivist and special collections librarian
Spring Break

Leading up to Spring Break, which took place March 10-14, Titan students shared their plans for the week off.

Barrio Fiesta

The Spanish and Latine Student Association hosted the annual Barrio Fiesta on March 29, a celebration with cultural food, dancing and live performances

Titan Green Over Everything

Green grass and emerging flowers competed with a dusting of snow on The Eckley Quadrangle in early March.
